Privacy policy

Last updated October 11, 2026

  • We collect what's needed to run your page: your email, what you put on your page, and the images you upload.
  • Your page and its images are public — that's the point of it.
  • Visitor statistics don't use cookies and we don't store IP addresses for them.
  • We use cookies only to keep you signed in. No ads, no tracking cookies, no selling of data.
  • You can see, change, export or delete your data. Write to privacy@sketchd.ink.
  • Payments go through Paddle, our reseller; we never see your card.

1.Who we are

sketchd.ink is run by Sketchd ("we", "us"). We are responsible for your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

For anything about your data, write to privacy@sketchd.ink.

2.What we collect

When you have an account:

  • Your email address, to sign you in (with a link or code we email you, or with Google). If you sign in with Google, Google also shares your name and profile picture address with us.
  • What you put on your page: username, display name, bio, city and country, styles, and the contact details you choose to show (Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp number, email, phone).
  • The images you upload: flash designs, healed work and your profile photo, with their titles, styles and motifs.
  • Your plan (Free, Pro or Lifetime) and its dates. When you buy a plan, Paddle (our reseller, see below) collects your payment details and billing address directly; we never see or store your card number. Paddle tells us your customer and subscription numbers and whether a payment went through.

When anyone visits a page on Sketchd:

  • Page statistics for the artist: page views, taps on contact buttons and which designs were opened. Each visitor is counted with a code that changes every day and can't be traced back to them. These statistics use no cookies, and we don't store IP addresses for them. Known bots aren't counted.
  • Technical logs kept by our hosting providers (for example IP address and browser), used only to keep the service secure and working.

3.What is public

Your page is public: everything on it (your name, bio, city, contacts you chose to show, images) can be seen by anyone, found in Sketchd search and indexed by search engines. You can hide your page any time (Profile → Visibility): it then shows as "not found" and disappears from search.

4.Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary: to keep you signed in, and to bring you back to the right page after signing in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner.

5.Why we use your data

  • To provide the service you signed up for: your account, your public page, search (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep Sketchd safe and working, prevent abuse, and show artists anonymous statistics (our legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To keep records the law requires, for example for payments (Art. 6(1)(c)).

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

6.Who helps us run it

These companies process data for us, only to provide their service and under data processing agreements:

  • Supabase — database, sign-in and image storage (servers in the EU).
  • Vercel — hosting of the website.
  • Our email delivery provider — sends sign-in emails.
  • Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google".
  • Cloudflare — checks that the sign-in form is used by a person, not a bot (Turnstile). It looks at technical signals from your browser for this check only.
  • Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, United Kingdom) — only for people who buy a plan. Paddle is the Merchant of Record: it sells our plans, takes the payment and handles taxes and refunds, and for payment data it acts under its own privacy notice (www.paddle.com/legal/privacy).

Some of them are based outside the EU (for example in the USA). Where data leaves the EU, it's protected by the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

7.How long we keep it

We keep your account, page and images for as long as you have an account. When you delete an image, it's removed. When your account is deleted, your profile, images and page statistics are deleted with it. Hosting providers keep technical logs for a short time only. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

8.Your rights

You can ask to see the data we have about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or object to or limit how we use it. Most of it you can change yourself in your dashboard, and you can delete your account there (Profile → Delete my account). For anything else, write to privacy@sketchd.ink; we answer within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live.

9.Age

Sketchd is for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account.

10.Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change matters for you, we tell you by email before it applies.
